Eyelash Tinting
Temporary solution to enhance the eyelashes
Treatment Description
Tinting is a process of applying a safe, semi-permanent dye to the eyelashes. The process colours the entire strand from the base of lashes to the tip, helping them to appear longer. Eyelash tint is the middle ground between mascara and and eyelash extensions. Tint gives the eyes a bolder look. The tint should last around 4 weeks at the most. As the dye is not permanent, there will be a slow fading of colour over time. If you have any of the following conditions apply, you will not be able to book an appointment: - Trichotillomania – Stress or anxiety-induced urge to pull out hair, including eyelashes - Eyelid dermatitis – A skin condition that causes eyelid skin to burn, be red and itchy - Blepharitis – Inflammation of the eyelids that causes red, swollen eyelids and a crusty eyelash line - Alopecia areata - A condition that causes full or partial hair loss on the scalp and may affect the eyebrows and eyelashes - Conjunctivitis - Infection in the eye causing redness, itching, burning, gritty feeling or pus that sticks to lashes. *Please note, a patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to treatment*
